An editorial capturing high-end style at an abandoned ski resort
Blending runway and dance to express the shift of an era
Task
Planned and executed the LEIMAN SS season shoot, staging runway and contemporary dance scenes at the abandoned ski resort. Developed the concept of reinterpreting high-end style and led the creative direction combining space and performance.
The LEIMAN SS season editorial set out to explore how high-end fashion can be reimagined through the lens of changing times.
This project went beyond styling garments and focused on expressing how high-end aesthetics can take on new forms when placed between the past and the present.
We searched for a location that once stood as a symbol of high-end culture within a landscape marked by history.
This search led us to an abandoned ski resort, a place that once reflected wealth, exclusivity, and prestige.
There, we combined runway scenes with contemporary dance to capture movement, flow, and the quiet beauty that remains as time leaves its mark.
LEIMAN SS 시즌 화보는 하이엔드가 시대의 변화 속에서 어떻게 보여지고 다뤄지는지에 대한 질문에서 시작됐다.
이번 프로젝트는 단순한 의상 연출을 넘어, 하이엔드가 과거와 현재 사이에서 어떻게 새롭게 해석될 수 있는지를 시각적으로 풀어내는 데 집중했다.
우리는 시대의 흔적 속에서 한때 하이엔드를 표방했던 공간을 찾고자 했다. 그 과정에서 과거의 부와 고급스러움, 그리고 상징적 가치를 지녔던 폐 스키장을 발견했다.
이곳에서 런웨이와 현대무용을 결합해 흐름과 움직임을 통해 하이엔드의 또 다른 얼굴을 담아냈으며, 시간의 흐름이 남긴 아름다움과 의미를 기록했다.
The LEIMAN SS season editorial set out to explore how high-end fashion can be expressed through different moods shaped by the flow of time.
The shoot was directed around three distinct concepts. The first focused on movement, aiming to capture the energy and dynamic presence of the collection. The second highlighted traces left in the space, reflecting the story of a place once tied to high-end culture. The third mood conveyed the passage of time, visually expressing the depth and layers of the collection.
Through these three approaches, the editorial presented a multi-dimensional view of high-end style.
LEIMAN SS 시즌 화보는 하이엔드가 시대의 흐름 속에서 어떻게 표현될 수 있는지를 주제로 기획했다.
촬영은 총 세 가지 콘셉트로 진행했다. 첫 번째는 움직임을 중심으로 한 무드로, 컬렉션의 에너지를 담아내고자 했다. 두 번째는 공간의 흔적을 보여주는 무드로, 과거의 하이엔드를 상징하던 장소의 이야기를 전하고자 했다. 세 번째는 시간의 흐름을 느낄 수 있는 무드로, 컬렉션이 지닌 깊이와 감각을 시각적으로 표현하고자 했다.
우리는 이 세 가지 무드를 통해 하이엔드 컬렉션의 형태와 레이어를 입체적으로 보여주었다.
The LEIMAN S/S season Lookbook was designed to show how high-end fashion can be reinterpreted through the flow of time.
A full runway show was staged directly on set, creating a seamless blend between the collection and its surroundings — an approach rarely seen in emerging designer brands.
To ensure a unified tone and aesthetic, the lookbook was also shot at the same location, highlighting the depth and mood of the collection through consistent visual storytelling.
LEIMAN SS 시즌 룩북은 하이엔드가 시대의 흐름 속에서 어떻게 재해석될 수 있는지를 보여주기 위해 기획했다.
현장에서 바로 런웨이 쇼를 진행해 화보와 컬렉션이 공간과 하나로 어우러지는 새로운 방식을 시도했다.
이 접근은 신진 디자이너 브랜드에서는 보기 드문 연출로, 현장의 공기와 흐름을 그대로 담아냈다.
통일된 톤과 무드를 유지하기 위해 룩북 역시 동일한 공간에서 촬영해 컬렉션의 깊이와 감각을 강조했다.
